ABOUT US

The Public Square was founded in 2018 to provide an informal venue for anyone interested in domestic and international politics to talk about the big issues of the day. It was formerly held in the pub (as the name suggests) but the difficulty if finding a suitable venue (we could afford) meant we were forced to abandon it for a while. But out of crisis comes opportunity, as they say, so we are relaunching as a virtual Webinar. This means that we can draw on a much larger pool of international experts to consider a wider range of issues. We already have a number of potential topics and speakers lined up, more of which we shall publicize soon.
