Mona Chettri is an Australia-India Institute Next Generation Network Research Fellow at the University of Western Australia, Perth. Her current research focuses on gender, labour, migration, urbanisation and infrastructure in Sikkim, India.
Kanishka Jayasuriya
Kanishka Jayasuriya is Professor of Politics and International Studies, Discipline Leader of the Politics group, and Fellow of the Asia Research Centre at Murdoch University. Previously he was Director of the Indo-Pacific Governance Research Centre (IPGRC), University of Adelaide.
Alex Davis

Alex Davis is a lecturer in International Relations at The University of Western Australia. His current research focuses on colonial legacies in India’s borderlands, particularly the Indian Ocean and the Himalaya
